At Cluck & Collect we rear our hens, chickens & turkeys on chemical free pastures, all the time.
Mimicking natural patterns in nature we move our flocks via mobile coops daily onto fresh grass. This encourages natural foraging for bugs, worms & minerals from grasses. This constant moving onto fresh grass creates beneficial intermittent disturbances on the pasture & their poop provides a natural fertility bomb. Our pastures do not receive any chemical interference & are never sprayed with fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. We’re o’naturel baby!
Studies show that moving hens, chickens & turkeys in this manner has enormous benefits on their health and wellbeing as well as the nutrition value of their eggs & meat. The eggs & meat are higher in Vitamin A, D, E and Omega 3 fatty acids.
Practicing regenerative agriculture we aim to use time controlled grazing to allow the grass plant to live its natural life cycle this contributes to more organic mass in the soil, building soil structure & helping sequester carbon.
